Welcome to Gold Mine Rock Shop

We are located near the main entrance to the Royal Gorge Bridge about 8 miles west of Canon City, CO on HWY 50. One of the largest selections of outside/rough rocks in the country. We bring in rough rocks from all over the world.

We also carry many locally mined rocks, including rose quartz, fluorspar, mica, feldspar, copper, rhyolite, and a very unique variation of rose quartz we have called "wild rose".

Inside our walls you will find amethyst cathedrals, fish and trilobite fossils, rhodochrosite, bookends, candleholders, turquoise jewelry, and small and large gemstones and minerals from around the world. Be sure to visit our Indian room full of authentic and "modern" artifiacts.
